The winery is only 45 minutes away from Santiago. It is flanked by the Andres Range and bordering the Maipo River, creating a combination of climate and soil that increased the grape flavor to produce a high level wine. The wine making industry was introduced in 1883 by Don Melchor de Concha y Toro, he brought strains from Bordeaux France and hired also in France a winemaker, Monsieur Labouchere.
The vineyard Concha y Toro is world famous because of Casillero del Diablo and the legend attached to that wine, also the tour through the vineyard and winery has become one of the most visited attractions in Latin America, and we invited to meet this traditional and legendary cellars and vineyard.
