DAY 1                    LIMA
Reception and transfer from Lima Airport to your hotel. Overnight in 5-star hotel or similar category.
DAY 2                    LIMA                                                                        
Breakfast in the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the modern part and the colonial part of the city of Lima "The city of the kings", starting with the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, where we will pass through a pre-Inca construction of about 1200 years old, the Huaca Huallamarca. Then will go to the Historical Center, where you will see the Plaza Mayor, which includes the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Municipality and the Cathedral. Stop at the chocolate and pisco museums to make a small tasting. Then visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, declared a cultural heritage of humanity and where the remains of our patron saints San Martin de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima lie. Finally, visit the Museo Larco, where the insuperable private collection of Treasures of Ancient Peru and inspires its visitors to discover, understand and enjoy more than five thousand years of history of Old Peru through more than 45,000 pieces. DAY 3                    LIMA - CUSCO
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to Lima Airport. Flight to Cusco (not included in pricing). Reception and transfer from Cusco Airport to the hotel. Begin an adventurous trip into the country to encounter the friendly and elegant Wayra Ranch where you will enjoy a gourmet meal on this family-style ranch. After sampling some of the most exquisite flavors of the Andes, enjoy a watching a presentation featuring local cowboys and their light-gaited and graceful Peruvian horses. DAY 4                    CUSCO - PISAC
Breakfast in the hotel. Today begin your journey through the inspiring Sacred Valley of the Incas. First stop is at the bustling Pisac Market, one of the oldest and largest markets in Peru. This thriving hub has turned into the primary place to purchase handicrafts, silver jewelry, clothing and known locally of making pottery. Your next stop is to a classic Urubamba Valley, an alluvial plain with crops that dress the mountains like carpets. Finally, you will visit Ollantaytambo, an attractive town of Inca origin with remarkable channels and stone streets. In high parts one rises to an impressive ceremonial center of cult. Finalizing your long day, have the option in visiting a spa for some relaxation time. Overnight at 5-star hotel or similar category. (B)

DAY 5                    PISAC - MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast in the hotel. Be dazzled by the ancient Incan village, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, Machu Picchu. Whose name means “Ancient Mountain”; it is hard to ignore the beauty of these white-grey granite structures set against a backdrop of the lush deep-green forest surrounding it. Savor the spectacular scenery of the sacred Urubamba Valley as you travel by train to this mountainside palace, discovered by the Western world in 1911. On your arrival in “Aguas Calientes”, a railroad town established in 1901. You will have reception by one of our agents who will accompany you to the bus and 25min. ride to Machu Picchu. An unforgettable journey accompanied by one of our expert guides who will tell you stories of this enchanted, mysterious ancient palace. After a guided tour of the site, you will have time to explore on your own. The group return to Aguas Calientes at a pre-scheduled time. Lunch included. Overnight in 5-star hotel or similar category. DAY 6                    MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
Breakfast in the hotel. Today you will explore Cusco City, also known as the Imperial City; a classic example of the union between the Andean and Spanish cultures.  Begin the tour at the “Santo Domingo” Convent, built on the ruins of Koricancha, the antique Incan palace and main Centre of the worship of the Sun God. The next stop is the colonial “Plaza de Armas”, where you can visit the Cathedral and the beautiful church of “La Compañía de Jesus”. Tour continues to the Sacsayhuamán Fort with its imposing Incan military architecture, a building that dominates the city. Also, visit the archaeological sites of Qenko, Puca-Pucará and Tambomachay to the northeast of Cusco. Stop at a place called the Inka’s Expression, a living art gallery where you will learn a little about the work of local artisans. Finalizing the tour, you will enjoy a gourmet dinner in the world-renowned Pre-Columbian Art Museum before ending the tour in the hotel. Overnight in 5-star category hotel or similar category. (B, D)
DAY 7                    CUSCO - PUERTO MALDONADO                                           
Breakfast in the hotel. Today transfer from your hotel in Cusco to lodge in Puerto Maldonado where you will a board a comfortable riverboat and head up the winding Madre de Dios River, towards the lush Tambopata National Reserve which is one of nature’s most bio diverse areas on the planet. The first place you will stop at is the plush Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica Lodge, a deluxe oasis in the midst of the Peruvian Amazon. From here, you will head out on a guided tour to enjoy the fresh air while you explore their trails, observe Amazonian birds and primates in their natural habitat. Later afternoon, finish with a sunset river cruise where you can watch the spellbinding transformation from day to night in the Amazon rainforest. Overnight in Lodge or similar category. (B)
DAY 8            PUERTO MALDONADO                                           
Breakfast in the hotel. Starting today with a quick boat ride to one of the best-preserved locations of the Tambopata National Reserve, Lake Sandoval. Here you can paddle around in local canoes. Afterwards, return to the lodge and get ready for the Inkaterra’s Canopy Walkway. Walk where only the birds fly and explore the jungle’s treetop landscape 90-feet above the forest’s floor via the canopy walkway that hangs from the trees. From treetops to jungle swamps, another incredible experience awaits you on the Anaconda Trail; take a nature walk over 200 meters of wooden bridges set above the jungle swamps.  Overnight in Lodge or similar category. Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, take a boat ride back to Puerto Maldonado to visit the Inkaterra Butterfly House, home to the greatest number of butterfly species in the world. Then, at the scheduled time, you will return to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, connect with your international flight to next destination (Flight not included).(B)
